No, that is not a natural color for that rock. The dying of rocks and minerals

In our shop we have many rocks and minerals for our customers to pick from. Agate slices, tumbled stones, many types of Jasper, and fossils. Some of these rocks and minerals are naturallycolorful, some of them have been, well, enhanced a bit. It usually not hard to tell which one have been dyed.

Of course, some customers ask us if that is the natural color and we do inform them that it is not.

New Metal Earth Models

Fascintations comntiues to produce more and more models for their popular Metal Earth line. These are models that come on laser-cut metal sheets that you punch out and assemble to make extremely realistic and detailed models of various cars, buildings, vehicles, etc. We don’t carry the entire line but we have added 4 new models to our offerings. Smartphone Clip on Macro and Fisheye Lenses in action!

We recently added another Smartphone clip-on lens to our offerings. This is similar to our Universal Smartphone Microscope but the lenses are not s microscope system but conventional camera-type lenses. We thought we would put this system to the test.

First up let’s look at the system: It s a simple clip-on soft-jaw clamp similar to the Smartphone Microscope. It should with all smartphones and even most pads:
