We’ve added a couple of new listings to the popular Giant Microbes line! First up is that little thing that launched a thousand sewer systems. Cholera!
Plush and fun with cute eyes like all of it Giant Microbe brethren, this little plush toy represents the microbe that made millions sick in the past and still causes massive sickness in areas with poor sanitation. Cholera epidemics led to the construction of proper sewage systems in many major cities in the 19th century that led to the systems we have today. We take it for granted now, but times were that people would dump waste into the same water system they drew drinking water from!
Next up is is a vaccine preventable sickness: Rubella
Sometimes known as German Measles, Rubella is a disease that results in rashes on the skin. It is mostly preventable with the MMR vaccine given when children are young.
Giant Microbes are stuffed ‘animals’ that look like tiny microbes—only a million times actual size!
Each 5-to-7 inch doll is accompanied by an image of the real microbe it represents, as well as information about the microbe.
They make great learning tools for parents and educators, as well as amusing gifts for anyone with a sense of humor!
