What's new here?

OK, we love Sundials, finicky things that they are. There is just something classic and timeless about them. But not everyone can afford to spend money on such a hobby. Of course anyone can make a sundial with a stick  in the ground (calibrating is tricky, mind you).  But a fun little project to do is to make a paper vertical sundial – one that you put on a wall! Thanks to the web it is very easy to do. All you need is a printer, a web connection, and some scissors. Its a fun summertime project!

First go to this website and follow the directions. It is very simple – you just find your house (or other building) on the google maps insert, then click on the wall you want to use and your sundial is ready to print!

Coming up – what happens when Spectrum tries its hand at making a paper sundial!
